A partnership serving the environment and solidarity
At Maison Fenestraz, our commitment to the environment drives us to take concrete action on a daily basis in each of our Maisons. It’s in this spirit that our two alpine hotels, the Hôtel AlpenRuitor**** Spa & Restaurants and the Hôtel de La Loze, partner with UNISOAP.
A threefold commitment
UNISOAP is the first French association dedicated to recycling used hotel soap. Its main objective is to give underprivileged populations access to hygiene, while at the same time taking an ecological and socially responsible approach.
By working with UNISOAP, we are committing ourselves to an approach that combines human and environmental impact. This initiative meets three major challenges:
- Environmental : Reducing soap waste from hotels by recycling it to limit its impact on the planet.
- Social: Promoting the integration and professional inclusion of disabled workers through recycling carried out in an ESAT (Help through Work Establishment and Service).
- Solidarity: Enabling people in precarious situations to have access to essential hygiene products, distributed by local partner associations.
The recycling process: a second life for your soaps
When you leave one of our alpine Maisons, your used soap bars are collected and taken by UNISOAP to a recycling centre in the Lyon region. There, they are treated in compliance with current cosmetics regulations to become new bars of soap. These recycled soaps are then redistributed to charities, which give them to people in need.
Working together for a responsible future
In all our Maisons, In all our hotels, we are committed to promoting responsible practices among our customers and our teams. At the Hotel AlpenRuitor**** Spa & Restaurants in particular, we offer Omnisens soaps, a brand that respects the environment and uses natural ingredients.
This partnership with UNISOAP illustrates our ongoing commitment to sustainable and responsible hotel management. Together, let’s continue our efforts to preserve the planet and support those who need it most.
